Dweey Visits Graphic Design Students at ALFA College
Dweey, the short-necked, toy giraffe visited ALFA College on 6 October 2011 and was brought to life by students enrolled in the Graphics Design program. Participating students received an unmarked vinyl figurine of the toy character developed by Malaysian designer Luk Chee Chew who had presented a brief history of Dweey’s amazing journey earlier in the day. From concept to product design and brand development, Dweey has evolved and lived through many transformations since its inception in 2005.
Mr. Luk spent the day with students encouraged aspiring designers to expand their perspective in order to see their designs and projects through to completion.
